Michigan DOT Director Paul C. Ajegba, P.E., is featured in a new State DOT Update video.

On Jan. 14, 2020, prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Transportation TV interviewed Paul C. Ajegba, P.E., director of the Michigan, DOT for this Two Minute State DOT Update video. In this segment, Ajegba discusses the three biggest challenges MDOT faced at the time; issues that are still unresolved. Ajegba also discusses construction of the Gordie Howe International Bridge, a massive six lane cable-stayed design bridge that will link the US and Canada. Named for Canadian ice hockey player Gordie Howe, the bridge is financed through a Public-Private Partnership or P3 agreement and it’s expected to open sometime in the year 2024.
