This session focused on AASHTO President Craig Thompson’s emphasis areas, which seek to fully harness the capabilities of AASHTO as an organization and the combined resources and expertise of its state departments of transportation members to move our transportation system into the future together. Specifically, the session examined how state DOTs could get the most out of the historic federal investments in infrastructure, improve safety, and develop our workforce.
