When the Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting begins on Jan. 12, 2020 it will kick-off a yearlong centennial celebration. The meeting’s theme: 100 Years–Moving Ideas and Advancing Society. An estimated 13,000 people are expected to participate in the more than 800 sessions scheduled during the 2020 meeting, to be held in Washington, D.C. CEO’s from several State Departments of Transportation will once again either lead or participate on panels covering a wide range of important transportation issues, including highway safety.
