2025 | Thomas H. MacDonald Memorial Award – Raymond Buzalsky

Ramond Buzalsky of the Texas Department of Transportation received the Thomas H. MacDonald Memorial Award. Ray began his career with TxDOT in 1969 and has spent more than fifty years shaping construction quality and mentoring generations of engineers in the Fort Worth District. After earning his Professional Engineer license, he served as Resident Engineer for Tarrant County and oversaw dozens of major projects, including the long lasting East IH 820 Interchange at IH 30. Ray later became a key leader in constructability reviews and is widely respected as a statewide expert in resolving field issues and coordinating change orders with FHWA.
