Since the beginning of 2020, reports indicate that more than 20 people have died, due the thousands of wildfires that have burned millions acres and destroyed thousands of structures in California. Caltrans road crews have been right there, working side by side with emergency responders to mitigate fire threats and to keep roadways open and operating safely.
