The President’s Transportation Award for Mobility goes to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT). MoDOT’s I-270 North Project tackled severe congestion and mobility issues on a 60-year-old corridor. By adding lanes, rebuilding interchanges, and implementing innovative traffic management strategies, the project significantly improved safety and reduced travel times for drivers, cyclists, and transit riders.
